STORY MILL SPUR
Remember the time we got lost in that gigantic hay
maze?” If you don’t have a story like this to tell, check
out the incredible Bozeman Maze
(
)
this year. Made with thousands of bales of hay, each
year’s Bozeman, Mont., maze takes on a new shape.
From a bird’s-eye view, past designs have included a
scarecrow, a pumpkin and a castle. e maze is open
Fridays through Sundays in October, along with lots
of other equally cool attractions, such as trebuchet
pumpkin chucking and a giant trampoline. Kids can
hop on a mini-train or play in the corn box—like
a sand box, but filled with corn! Head out along
the Story Mill Spur rail-trail on the northeastern
side of town to take in views of the surrounding
mountains and the towering grain elevator at the
historic mill site.
